When are you open?

We operate from late August through early June. We do not host any retreats or events during the summer months while our summer sports camp is in operation. Have a particular date in mind? Reach out today via email, phone, or text to check availability.

Unfortunately, we do not offer individual cabin rentals. Our retreat programs are designed around group minimums and include accommodations, meals, and meeting spaces.

Can I go fishing on the lake?

Trout Lake is a private facility, and to ensure privacy and tranquility for our guests, we do not allow outsiders to fish on or around our lake. If you are a booked guest, you are able to enjoy the fishing. (You must bring your own equipment and have a valid PA Fishing License.)

Can I come and take photos?

Booked wedding couples receive complimentary use of our facilities for an engagement photoshoot with their photographer; reach out to schedule a time with your wedding coordinator. As a private facility, we do not allow other photoshoots on-site.

Can I bring my pet(s)?

We are animal lovers here at Trout Lake, but we ask that you do not bring pets on-site for the comfort of other guests with allergies and anxiety around animals. Couples who wish to include their dogs in their ceremony are welcome to do so, although they must remain on leash and be removed from the grounds upon the ceremony’s conclusion. Please inform your wedding coordinator if you plan on including your dog(s) on your special day.

Can I bring in my own food, alcohol, or caterer?

Trout Lake is a full-service venue with an expert culinary team that caters all of our weddings, events, and retreat meals. We offer a wide variety of menu options to suit every taste and budget and can accommodate most dietary and special requests.

As Trout Lake operates with its own Pennsylvania State Liquor Control Board License, we do not allow outside alcohol to be consumed on the property; this includes groups staying overnight in our cabins. Instead, we offer flexible bar packages that range from beer and wine to premium liquor selections with the option of providing guests with cash, consumption, or hourly packages.
