About Trout Lake

For more than three decades, I have had the privilege to not only call Trout Lake my place of business, but also my home. In 1991, my family purchased the property to start a summer sports camp, and in the off-season we opened up a retreat facility. That humble beginning has blossomed into the business you see today, where our goal is to ensure everyone receives outstanding service in a warm friendly environment. And through thoughtful and purposeful upgrades each season, we honor the history of this beautiful lakeside property while providing our guests with the modern amenities they come to expect. We continue to improve the facility each year, including building multiple ceremony sites, additional meeting spaces, increased parking, and upgraded accommodations. Each time we add a new amenity, we do so respecting the history of the property and the natural setting our location offers. Our goal is to provide a rustic but elegant feel with all the modern conveniences our guests come to expect while limiting our environmental impact.
