When planning your wedding, there’s a lot to think about; timelines, décor, vendor arrivals, and making sure everything is in place for the big day. But what happens before the celebration starts? And after the last dance? At Trout Lake, we know your focus should be on celebrating, not stressing over the small things. That’s why we offer set-up and pack-down services designed to take the pressure off you and your loved ones.

What’s Already Included

Our experienced team arrives early to set the stage for your celebration. That includes:

Arranging chairs at your ceremony site
Setting up tables and chairs in your reception space, including cocktail hour layouts and dinner service
Coordinating with your florist and vendors on arrival times and access
Ensuring everything is in place before guests arrive, so your space feels picture-perfect from the very beginning

What Our Optional Set-Up Service Includes

Our team is here to make sure everything looks just the way you imagined it, without you having to lift a finger on your wedding day. Once you’ve dropped off your pre-approved décor, we take care of setting it all up before guests arrive. This includes placing items like your welcome sign, card box, guest book, favors, reserved signs, table numbers, centerpieces, and any small personal touches you’ve prepared. You’ll arrive to a fully styled space without any of the stress of doing it yourself (or assigning the task to family and friends).

What Our Optional Pack-Down Service Includes

Once your celebration wraps up, we’re still working behind the scenes. Our pack-down services include:

Collecting and organizing your décor items in labeled bins or containers you’ve brought with you
Safely storing any personal items in the designated pickup area for easy transport to your car
Removing trash and consolidating leftover items so you don’t have to worry about clean-up in your formalwear
Returning venue-supplied items to their proper places, keeping everything tidy and seamless

What You Provide

To make everything run smoothly, we ask that all personal décor items are:

Clearly labeled and organized
Delivered during your scheduled drop-off time
Packaged in bins or containers that are easy to move and repack

In addition, we encourage couples to provide a photo or mockup of your desired table layouts, place settings, signage, or special displays. This visual reference helps our team accurately recreate your vision and ensures your setup matches what you had in mind. Whether it’s a hand-drawn sketch, a Pinterest board, or a photo from your planning meeting, we’re happy to work from whatever format you have.

Please note: For safety and ease of clean-up, we kindly ask that guests avoid items such as open flames, loose confetti, or décor that must be hung with nails or screws. If you’re unsure whether something is allowed, just ask, we’re happy to help!

Larger Set-Ups

Some couples choose to bring in large-scale installations or unique décor elements such as floral arches, custom lighting, or lounge setups. For those items, we recommend hiring a decorator or asking your vendors if they include set-up in their services. We’re always happy to coordinate with your vendor team to make it all come together.
