Set along the edge of our private 100-acre lake, the Boathouse is a restored 1800s structure that blends original character with thoughtful modern updates. Exposed beams, tongue-and-groove woodwork, and stone accents give the space a warm, rustic feel, while large windows and open sightlines keep the focus on the water.

What Makes the Boathouse Special

A full wall of folding glass doors opens the entire back of the building to the outdoors. The expanded deck includes a covered porch and provides plenty of room for guests to enjoy fresh air, lake views, and sunset backdrops. With a flexible layout that accommodates 75–100 guests, the Boathouse is well-suited for gatherings looking for a relaxed, scenic setting.

Often chosen for rehearsal dinners, post-wedding brunches, micro weddings, showers, family celebrations, and retreat breakout sessions, the casual lakeside atmosphere works beautifully for both informal events and more thoughtfully styled occasions.

Flexible Space

To simplify planning, the Boathouse includes round or rectangular tables, comfortable chairs, and four widescreen TVs for slideshows or presentations. The connected lakeside decks practically touch the water and offer stunning views.

With its combination of history, comfort, and waterfront views, the Boathouse remains one of Trout Lake’s most versatile and memorable event spaces.

By far the best location on the Knot for the Stroudsburg area! If you’re looking for an “all inclusive” venue where you can have your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception, this is definitely the place to book! They provide the cake, food, drinks and perfect atmosphere for your guests. I honestly felt like I underpaid given the fact that everything was so perfect! The staff were absolutely a delight and made the whole wedding process a breeze. Thank you for making my day perfect!
