How to Display Your Wedding Monogram

  1. Use the Reception Room TV: The TV in the reception area is mounted above the sweetheart table and is a great way to highlight your wedding monogram. We recommend connecting your laptop or iPad via HDMI for a seamless slideshow. This is a wonderful way to add a personalized touch that can be viewed throughout the reception.
  2. Enhance the Cocktail Hour Space: During cocktail hour, you can continue to showcase your monogram or display a photo slideshow on the TVs in the cocktail space. This helps maintain the theme and gives guests a little glimpse into your story as they enjoy appetizers and drinks.
  3. Monogram Projection by Your DJ: Another option is to have your DJ project your wedding monogram and wedding date onto the walls of the reception room. This creates a striking visual statement and can be a great focal point for guests as they enter the room or while they dance the night away.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Use High-Resolution Images: Since the TVs are 4K compatible, make sure your monogram or slideshow images are high-resolution for the best display quality. Low-quality images may appear pixelated on such high-definition screens.
  • Test Your Setup in Advance: Whether you’re using a USB stick or connecting via HDMI, be sure to test your setup before the big day. This ensures everything works smoothly and gives you time to troubleshoot if needed. Our staff will help you get connected on the day, but unfortunately, we’re not able to offer technical support once your wedding begins.
  • Consider a Slideshow: The TVs are perfect for running a slideshow of your engagement photos or moments you’ve shared together. If you’re opting for a slideshow, consider blending it with your monogram to keep the visual elements dynamic and engaging for guests. When creating your slideshow, either put together a USB stick of individual JPG images or output from an HDMI source such as a laptop or iPad.
  • Coordinate with Your DJ:
If you’re using projection, work with your DJ to ensure that the monogram projection timing is coordinated with key moments of the evening, like your first dance or cake cutting.
Adding these custom visual elements can make your wedding day even more special, bringing your love story to life in a way that all your guests can enjoy. If you are interested in any of these options, please reach out to our team and we can go over the specifics with you to ensure a smooth presentation.
